REWIRE FESTIVAL – THE HAGUE VOCAL ENSEMBLE

At Rewire 2026, in the resonant surroundings of the Grote Kerk, the The Hague Vocal Ensemble, under the direction of artistic director Angeliki Ploka, will perform Silencio by Moritz von Oswald. The work explores the acoustic and conceptual boundary between human and machine sound, examining how electronic synthesis can be interpreted through the logic of the voice—and, in turn, how the voice can be reintegrated into electronic composition.
